Clinical Practice

My clinical practice is grounded in the psychoanalysis of Freud and Lacan, beginning with an attentive listening to the singularity of each subject, their personal history, and the way they confront what causes them suffering.
A symptom is not simply something to be eliminated, but also a particular way in which each person expresses, often without being aware of it, their relationship to desire, the body, and others.
Analytic work is not about fitting individual experience into a predetermined model, nor about prescribing how one should live. Rather, it involves opening up a space in which speech can find new possibilities, allowing each person to question what repeats itself, what stands in their way, and what seems to have no solution.
My clinical experience encompasses different forms of contemporary suffering: difficulties in emotional and sexual relationships, questions of identity and gender, manifestations of anxiety and anguish, and issues concerning the body. Particular attention is also given to periods of transition and existential crisis, experiences of grief and loss, separations, and the difficulties that may accompany parenthood and family relationships.
My work also provides a space for experiences of exclusion, shame, and the difficulties that may arise in relation to social norms and expectations.
Psychoanalysis does not propose an ideal of normality. It offers the possibility of finding a more singular and liveable way of being in the world.
I offer in-person consultations in Turin, Albenga and Paris, as well as online sessions.
